The Heating and Cooling Split system is split into two units. One unit is for heating, and the other is for cooling. One part of this system is located outside, while the other is located indoors. So, if you can ever recall seeing these large steel containers on the outside of an office building, this is the split system in use. The cooling system that is located outside holds the refrigerant and coils that are used to cool the air. This device works very similar to the typical cooling whereas it sucks in fresh air by utilizing the blow fan then takes it through the compressors/coils allowing the air to cool off then sends it through the building viaducts.
The heating units of these split devices are located on the inside of the building.
